Having joined our esteemed team of professionals more than 15 years ago, John has been instrumental in furthering our firm’s reputation for delivering outstanding client support. As he begins to transition into semi-retirement, John finds great satisfaction in knowing that his clients will continue to be expertly served by our exceptional team of advisors and staff.

In his personal life, John is happily married to his wife Cathy, and they both thoroughly enjoy the beautiful lake life in Harrow. Manny Kelaidis

Investment Counsellor

As an Investment Counsellor, Manny provides portfolio management services and brings over 20 years of diverse experience to our high-net-worth clients in the CI Assante Private Client program. In consultation with our team, he determines an appropriate asset allocation to best meet the objectives of every client. He also provides ongoing reviews of client portfolios and works closely with our Wealth Planning team to ensure that our investment plans continue to meet client needs.

Prior to joining our team in 2021, Manny was advising high-net-worth families at CI Private Wealth (formerly Stonegate Private Counsel). Before that, he held corporate finance roles at CI Financial, Dynamic Funds and Scotiabank.

Manny has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Western University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)® designation.

Dilmini Bonas

As Regional Vice-President, Wealth Planning, Dilmini works closely with our high net worth clients to identify issues and provide complex, tactical wealth planning support that complements their wealth plans. Dilmini has a particular focus on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies for business owners, professionals, and other affluent individuals and families.

Dilmini joined CI Assante Private Client in 2019 after practicing estates law in private practice. During her time in private practice, she worked both as an estate planning lawyer and represented clients in estate litigation matters. Dilmini assisted clients with establishing and implementing individualized estate plans that prioritized their wishes and views with respect to legacy building. As a litigator, she represented beneficiaries, estate trustees, and guardians for property and personal care. Dilmini has appeared before all levels of Court in Ontario.

Dilmini is a lawyer with a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Birmingham (UK) and a Bachelor of Science degree from York University. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Christine Petrie

As a Regional Wealth Planner, Christine Petrie facilitates the delivery of wealth planning reports. Using a needs-based approach, Christine works with our clients to not only gather pertinent financial information, but more importantly, to identify issues and help our clients articulate and document their goals to build a plan that meets their needs. Working with the support of the wealth planning team, Christine delivers a strategy that addresses retirement planning, cash flow management, risk management, business planning and estate planning.

Christine became part of CI Assante Private Client in 2021. Prior to this, she held a number of roles at CIBC including an advisory role as a Senior Financial Planner where she provided comprehensive planning to affluent families and professionals. In her most recent role as a Financial Planning Consultant, Christine provided wealth planning support to financial advisors including quality assurance of their financial plans. 

Christine holds her Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation.

Chris Taylor

As a Regional Vice-President, Wealth Planning, Chris Taylor works closely with our high-net-worth clients to identify issues and provide complex, tactical wealth planning support that complements their individual wealth plans. In particular, he focuses on tax and financial planning strategies for business owners, professionals, and other affluent individuals and families. 

Chris joined CI Assante Private Client in 2021 after working in public practice as the tax partner at a local firm in Oakville. In his previous role, he primarily focused on tax advisory and consulting services to owner-managed companies in the areas of retirement and estate planning, business succession planning, purchase and sale of a business, compensation planning and corporate reorganizations. Chris also previously served as a senior tax manager at BDO Canada LLP in Burlington. His overall professional experience in wealth planning exceeds 15 years. 

Chris is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. He has also completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ (now Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada) In-Depth Tax Program, In-Depth International Tax Course, and Corporate Reorganizations Course.

Maureen Moore is a highly experienced and accomplished professional in the financial services industry, with a career spanning over four decades. Starting her career at the Bank of Nova Scotia in Vancouver, Maureen relocated to Kelowna in 1984, where she took on various roles at Royal Trust. This experience further refined her skills and knowledge in the financial services sector. In 2002, Maureen moved with her family to the Windsor area, joining the esteemed team at Everitt-Wells & Gall Financial Group as a licensed assistant. Maureen’s dedication to client needs has always been a top priority and she ensures all client experience is positive and complete. 

Kimberly Marchand

Kim Marchand is a highly skilled and experienced financial professional with a diverse insurance and investment funds background. Born and raised in Windsor, Kim has been a dedicated industry professional since 1989, when she began her career at The Mutual Group (now Sun Life Financial). As an underwriting assistant for new life insurance applications, Kim honed her skills at the Kitchener/Waterloo head office while furthering her education through the Life Office Management Association (LOMA).

After nearly a decade with Sun Life Financial, where she held various administrative positions at the Windsor Branch Office, Kim took on the role of Licensed Marketing Assistant for several independent representatives. During this time, she obtained both her Mutual Funds License and Life Insurance License (2000).

Kim later joined Everitt-Wells & Gall Financial Group, where she continued to provide exceptional support as a Licensed Investment Funds Assistant and Licensed Insurance Assistant. Her knowledge and expertise in these areas have made her an invaluable asset to the financial planning firm. She is committed to ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and service.

Kris Swayze

Kris Swayze is an Investments and Insurance Advisor at CI Assante Wealth Management, having joined the team in 2004. His journey into the financial sector commenced during his university years, as he embarked on a role at CIBC. This early exposure to the banking industry, coupled with his academic pursuits, laid a solid foundation for his career.

Holding an honours degree in Economics & Financial Management from Wilfrid Laurier University. This blend of practical experience and formal education has equipped Kris with a deep understanding of insurance and investment planning, enabling him to develop comprehensive wealth management strategies for his clients.

Alexis Everitt-Wells, CFP®

Alexis is an experienced Certified Financial Planner® professional with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate the complex world of wealth and estate planning. 

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry Alexis began her career at Sun Life Financial where she honed her skills in advanced estate, financial, and insurance planning. After graduating from the University of Windsor with an Honors degree in International Relations & Economics, she continued her education and achieved her designation as a Certified Financial Planner professional.

In 2005, Alexis transitioned to her own independent financial advising firm, Everitt-Wells & Gall Financial Group/IQON Financial, which is now part of CI Assante Wealth Management. Her expertise includes personal wealth planning, business continuation and succession, and estate planning. Alexis and her team are an asset for clients facing various financial opportunities and obstacles.

As a business owner she understands and respects the value of time, and the need for clear & concise information. As a partner and employer Alexis understands the pressures and responsibilities of someone who has more than themselves to consider when making decisions.
